C2 makes clothes, the aim is to build a small range of items and for those shapes and styles to remain; to be refined and developed over time. The intention of these clothes is to find uses for disregarded textiles, to work these textiles into new ones. And to make clothes that are versatile for the body that wears them.

C2 was born, by trying to find ways to reuse the material thrown away in disposable hi-vis waistcoats. These materials are so costly to produce in terms of energy and resource and labour, and yet are thrown away after minimal use.

C2 aims to spend slowtime on building textiles, and shapes that feel nice and move beautifully, fluid clothes cut to fit splendid and variant bodies. Finding joy in the transformation of these clothes.

C2 is currently working within colour and tone to make patchwork pieces. The items are constructed from old garments and show the traces of previous lives, other brands and the labour of their original makers.
